The Actuarial Society of South Africa has pleasure in inviting you to participate in a seminar preceding the IAA Council and Committee meetings in Chicago. “The Actuary in Banking” is a half-day event which will take place at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel from 14:00 – 18:00 on Tuesday, 3 October 2017.

The Actuarial Society of South Africa developed the first banking specialist course for actuaries.

The program will include a South African case study to demonstrate the actuarial value-add in banking, as well as other perspectives and experiences from banking practitioners in other countries. A networking opportunity with light refreshments will conclude the event.
