Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce the 2024 edition of the Warsaw Actuarial School, organized jointly by the Polish Association of Actuaries (PSA) and the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. On behalf of the Board of the Polish Actuarial Association, I am pleased to invite members of the CEE actuarial associations to participate.
The School’s program includes:
- 16-17 September: “Risk Component in Economic Balance Sheet: Comparison of MCEV, Solvency II and IFRS 17” by Arkadiusz Kramza and Witold Czechowski (lecture in Polish)
- 18-19 September: “Insurance, biases, discrimination and fairness” by Prof. Arthur Charpentier (lecture in English)
Considering that the first lecture is in Polish, I especially draw your attention to the second course by Prof. Charpentier from Université du Québec à Montréal and Université de Rennes in France.
